Matt Edwards was born in Bracknell, Berkshire in 2001. He first took up writing during the Covid pandemic, with early work ranging from science fiction novellas and comic fantasy adventures to the short stories collected here in his first publication The Soul Box and other short stories from our future.

Matt has a passion for creating stories that explore how technology might influence our future, forcing us into dilemmas on how to deal with these new powers. He warns of science fiction becoming a reality for people who must then live with what they wished for.
